Canada Music Week Recitals - Nov 22nd, 2pm and 3:15pm
Canada Music Week, the third week of November including the 22 which honours St. Cecilia ( patron Saint of Music ) is recognized by the Moncton Music Teachers Association. Every year in November music teachers introduce composers and performers of the Canadian Music scene. Students learn to enjoy and appreciate Canada’s contemporary music.
Recitals honouring Canada Music week ( November 19 - 25 ) are at Mount Royal United Church, 106 Mount Royal Blvd, Moncton , November 26 beginning at 2:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. . Violin students of Margaret Wood will perform. Donations can be made to the Moncton Music Teacher’s Scholarship Fund to help music students pursue studies at university.
