October 2nd, 2008

Due to Popular Demand An additional date has been scheduled for the workshop at the YWCA

Learning to Live in the Moment

“An amazing life requires living in the moment”

Learn to live life in a much richer and more meaningful way, and to truly be present-not only to ourselves, but to others as well. Only when we become conscious of how and what we say to ourselves can we truly be fully present.

Until you get the false expectations and the other negative chatter out of your head, you’ll never accomplish your goals.

1st Annual New Brunswick GREEN FESTIVAL – 2008

August 22nd, 2008

1st Annual New Brunswick GREEN FESTIVAL – 2008

A Celebration of Music, Community and Ecology

(Kent County, NB – 30 minutes north of Moncton)- 15/08/08.  When Peter and Rachel James decide to promote the benefits of eco-friendly living, they really go for it! With over 30 live Bands, a beer garden, an artisan’s craft fair, exhibits by local renewable energy, and eco- education associations, camping, a children’s play area, and on-site daycare, this Labour Day weekend’s three day Green Festival has something for everyone.

The event takes place between 10 am Saturday August 30th and 6pm Monday September 1st on Peter and Rachel’s 500+ acres of land located near Clairville – 30 minutes north of Moncton’s Magnetic Hill. A map along with all of the event details including a list of the bands, vendors and exhibitors can be seen at www.thegreenfestival.ca.

The festival grounds are gorgeous! Hundreds of acres of stunning forest with hiking trails stretches out from a beautiful organic farm, and a huge trout pond where you can catch your own dinner.

Originally, The Green Festival was designed as a small event to fundraise for the Totem nature and children’s charity, but the event has grown into a major undertaking of its own. With room for 40 000 people, Peter and Rachel plan on building the event up over the next few years until it becomes a major international festival- similar to the British Glastonbury Festival that started out with 1500 people in 1970 and had 177 000 people in 2007.

This year admission is $10.00 per day, $5.00 for kids under 16 and free for kids under 5. Weekend and family packages are available. For a ticket outlet near you, see TICKETS at www.thegreenfestival.ca .

With so many people feeling helpless and indifferent in the face of increasing environmental concerns, the Green festival promises to inspire and empower us all by celebrating sustainable living in an exciting way. So pack up your friends and family and be a part of history this Labor Day weekend at the 1st annual New Brunswick Green Festival.
